Penglai is a famous excellent tourist city in China and has been rated as one of the top 100 counties in China for many consecutive years. In recent years, Penglai municipal government has actively promoted the construction of smart city, guided the transformation and upgrading of industrial development, and focused on the transformation of urban development to informatization and intelligence. Guangting has many years of industry experience and international service level in the field of informatization such as software research and development of intelligent networked vehicles and the provision of smart city industry solutions. Based on the concept of win-win cooperation, the two sides jointly established Shandong Guangting Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Guangting") in November 2017.
This research activity aims to further strengthen mutual understanding, implement specific cooperation plans, and give full play to the role of Shandong Guangting in the information construction of Penglai City. Secretary Yang Yuantian and his party successively visited NDS navigation products, mass production instrument products, high-precision map products and Internet of vehicles solutions independently developed by Guangting company, and learned in detail the classic cases and core products of Guangting company in smart city related fields such as smart land and smart tourism.
At the end of the survey, Secretary Yang Yuantian and his delegation affirmed and appreciated the core technology with independent intellectual property rights formed by Guangting in smart city related fields such as smart tourism and smart travel, and the two sides reached a consensus on developing smart city industry construction in Penglai City. The two sides expect Shandong Guangting to rely on the experience and advantages of Guangting information, focus on the construction of Penglai smart city, carry out in-depth cooperation with Penglai municipal government and enterprises and institutions in many fields such as big data, cloud technology and information personnel training, gradually promote the development of information industry in Penglai and surrounding areas, and make every effort to build Penglai into a benchmark of county smart city.
